Who I Am.

A filmmaker. A novelist. A professor of film studies in New York City.

My name is Greg Takoudes, I am also the author of The GoFaSt Guide to Screenwriting (Routledge Press), a book that outlines the methods I like to use in developing screenplays.

I have worked in screenplay development for Ron Howard, and as a consultant for companies such as Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and New Line Cinema.

And I will help you develop your screenplay.

My unique approach — called The GoFaSt Method — is designed to be organic and flexible so that you feel your most creative and intuitive, and not hemmed in by formulaic writing or the strictness of Three Acts.

I offer two tiers of services: a 30-minute chat if you’re still developing your ideas, or a deep read of a finished script.
